What I Help With
Anxiety
Anxiety can show up as constant overthinking, tension, or constant worrying. You may find it difficult to relax, switch off, or stay present.
In therapy, we focus on understanding these patterns, relating to anxious thoughts differently, and responding in ways that reduce their impact on your daily life.
Low Mood & Depression
Low mood or depression can show up as a lack of energy, motivation, or a sense of disconnection from things that used to matter. Even simple, everyday tasks may feel effortful. You might also experience feelings such as hopelessness, guilt, or a sense of worthlessness.
In therapy, work on making sense of these experiences, relating to them differently, and gradually reconnecting with what feels meaningful to you.
Stress & Burnout
Stress and burnout often build up gradually, especially in demanding work or life situations. You might feel overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or disconnected from things that used to matter.
In therapy, we focus on understanding what is driving this pressure and finding more sustainable ways to respond, including setting boundaries and reconnecting with your values.
Life Transition & Expat Challenges
Moving to a different country can be an exciting and meaningful experience but it is often quite challenging too. Real-life challenges such as cultural adaptation, finding work, housing, and not speaking the language can often give rise to emotional difficulties such as stress, loneliness, disconnection, or a sense of instability.
In therapy, we explore these experiences in context and on helping you feel more grounded, connected, and supported as you navigate this transition.
Relationship & Interpersonal Difficulties
Relationship difficulties can feel repetitive or confusing, where similar patterns keep showing up in how you connect with others. You may struggle with closeness, communication, or trust.
In therapy, we look at what maintains these patterns and developing more flexible and secure ways of relating in your relationships.
Social Anxiety
Social anxiety can show up as discomfort in social situations, fear of being judged, or difficulty expressing yourself around others. Social interactions often feel efforful and exhausting. You may find yourself holding back or overthinking interactions.
In therapy, we work on managing these emotions and developing more flexibility and ease in social situations, so you can engage in ways that feel more aligned with you.
